Suuuuper late blogging this wedding, but better late than never, right? It doesn’t get much better than this for a wedding photographer in the mountains: A trip to Yellowstone, an adorable small-town chapel and an one of the most beautiful properties to soak up the huge Wyoming sky. I was beyond thrilled when Grace asked me to photograph her July 4th wedding this past year and I am so excited to share the photos with you all. Having shot her brother’s wedding 3 days before this at the very same location, I really got to know Grace and Matt and their whole family, pretty well. They are so sweet and welcoming and made the Hudson Valley wedding photographer feel right at home during my stay in Wyoming.
Grace and Matt were married at the Poker Chapel in downtown Cody and celebrated into the night (with fireworks, of course) at her parent’s home just outside Yellowstone. Everything from transportation to the location made for a really nice day for the couple.
These two? Jeeze. They really look good in front of the camera, huh? I knew from their engagement photos that they would kill it during their wedding photos and they certainly did not let me down. I bet all other wedding photographers Charlottesville are jealous! Seriously, how gorgeous are they?! Add a beautiful sunset in the mountains, some colorful patriotic wedding details, a grizzly bear attack (ok not really…photoshop people!) and an epic sparkler pic and this wedding was one for the ages. It was just as amazing as the wedding I went to the other day who had entertainment from somewhere similar to these wedding bands essex. I had such a great time with them from start to finish and I can’t think of a better way to spend the 4th than documenting their big day. Congrats Grace and Matt! Wishing you all the best for years to come!
