Even just looking at these photos right now makes me miss the long, warm, beautiful days of summer. Don’t get me wrong, I love the change of seasons that happens every couple of months here in Colorado, but 2019 feels like it went from winter to summer and back to winter again without any of the in-between-months that I love so much.
This shoot was one of my favorites last summer. Hannah & Geoff couldn’t decide between winter and summer engagement photos….so they did both! Luckily their almost two-year engagement allowed for that (see their stunning Sapphire Point engagement photos here). Geoff’s family owns a lake home on Green Mountain Reservoir where they spend a lot of time boating and wakeboarding during the warmer months and its actually where they met too! How fun! Naturally they decided this would be the perfect backdrop for shoot #2.
What a beautiful, fun couple they are. I could spend hours searching out amazing light and beautiful scenery with these two….with their dog Mac (who is a natural in front of the camera btw). Hannah & Geoff: Your wedding in Vail is getting so close! Can’t wait for next summer kids!
