Oh, this wedding. Words can’t really even describe how amazing it was. Not only are Cassie & Nick an absolutely adorable and sweet couple, they had planned every detail so perfectly! (even the beautiful sunset they ordered special for couple’s portrait time). And the venue? Perfection. I had heard so many good things about the historic Highlands Ranch Mansion in south Denver, but in all my years shooting weddings, I had never had the opportunity to work there. After this wedding, it quickly rose to the top of my all-time favorite venues in Colorado. There are so many perfect locations for photos…inside and out! The dressing rooms are glorious and so full of light, the front lawn is the perfect spot for romantic I Dos and the grounds make the perfect, fairy-tale backdrop for photos.
I had such a great time working with these two and can’t wait to share these photos with you. They were rockstars in front of the camera (which I already knew from their engagement shoot last year…), I only wish I could’ve spent an entire afternoon taking photos of just the two of them.
