Weddings in 2020 are a lot different than they used to be. Gone are the days of 200 person gatherings, indoor ceremonies and packed dance floors. They look a lot like this wedding I shot recently inside Rocky Mountain National Park in Estes Park.
Luckily for Alex & Tim, they had always planned on having a small, intimate wedding with only a select group of family and friends so their particular plans didn’t change all that much. Having a small RMNP wedding or elopement is going to be more popular I imagine, and if the weddings look like this, I am all for it. We started with a short, sweet ceremony at Moraine Park Amphitheater Alex & Tim love the views from 3M curve along Trail Ridge Road so we took quite a bit of time shooting their portraits there with Longs Peak in the background. A brief rain shower didn’t deter us and we were left with some awesome clouds which made the landscape even more otherworldly.
