Posting this wedding just makes my heart so happy. ❤️ I am so excited to share this awesome couple’s special, colorful, heartwarming micro wedding at Sapphire Point overlooking Lake Dillion (easily one of my favorite places in Summit County for photoshoots).
I met Roxy several years ago the way I meet most of my Colorado friends: on a group camping trip and we’ve been friends ever since. Over the years it has been a joy to watch these two humans grow, travel and go on epic adventures together alongside one of my favorite pups, Henry (cutest Best Man ever!)
When their big wedding plans were put on hold this summer thanks to Covid, they decided a small wedding with a few friends and family would suffice until they could celebrate with the blow out party they envisioned. They put this ceremony together in a few short weeks and to be honest it was absolutely perfect for them. From the colorful, costume-mandatory dress code (wigs and dresses for the men, power suits for the ladies) to the sweet, heartfelt personal memories and poems that their loved ones shared, I couldn’t have scripted a better ceremony to unite this couple. To cap it all off, the mountains showed off in a big way, sending them on to married life with the most beautiful Colorado sunset. It was such an honor to document this union. Here are some favorite moments.
