The Magnolia Hotel brand has been doing a looooot of updates to their hotels recently and I am here for it. I love how each location gives a nod to the local flavor of each city in its decor. These newly designed Houston guest rooms are no exception. Love the rustic, modern take on the city’s past as a cattle town with fun textures, lots of leather and complementing artwork.
Houston is a city that grows on me every time I visit. I was lucky enough to have a local show me around the EaDo district east of downtown (hence the acronym). There are tons of amazing restaurants, colorful street art and legit breweries, all within walking distance. Check out the Truck Yard on a nice day for a drink or two in the beer garden. The place is totally up my alley and I’m sure you’ll love it too.
